Imperial beach halis?

I've heard that there are lots of Halibuts to be found out by imperial beach. I have never been out there but thinking bout taking the boat out there for the evening bite on Tuesday. Is anyone familiar withy the spots out there?

Its a huge area you're asking about. From out side the circular navigation array all the way to the boarder and from out side the surf to 80 feet or so. The area off Playas Tijuana to Rosarito Beach out to the coronados can also be excellent. Is basically a long sandy/muddy bottom from the beach to the islands and halibut can be any where. Look for bait on top or on the meter and fish the area. The flats inside the islands are worth checking because schools of yellows, cuda, bonito and occasionally white seabass roam around there. Mike
