Thanks for the consideration Josh. WCW would be too much pressure for me. I have to do it just for the fun...and the fish tacos...and the occasional fleeting glory of a front page post.

You are right about the pressure. I'm embarrassed by the pressure I feel for the first couple of fish each month. That's what makes this tournament worth while. I'm way more stoked with a solid fish now as opposed to a regular catch and release memory fish. The beauty of it is I'm able to fulfill my conservation needs even more as I know exactly how big a fish needs to be for an upgrade and release the rest. You are right about the fleeting glory of the front page. (I know a guy who is #1 in WCW and has never got a front page)

Is that what's eating Gilbert Grape??

OK, here are the the instructions on how to get the post appear on BWE front page posted long time ago:

http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ght=front+page

I have yet to see the post from a guy who is #1 in WCW that meets the requirements spelled out above.

Plus a common sense thing with the front page - post has got to have a descent picture, it kind of makes sense that the post is timely... IMHO, end month summary is not really a front page material.

Way to go, David!
We've been waiting for the day you would catch that 30lber and know what a beautiful fight you would have, and how much fun yellowtail fishing can be off of La Jolla.
We've always admired your bassing skills up at DP. But, while bass fishing is still very nice, there's nothing better than hooking one of those hard fighting yellows to make a kayak fisherman sing another tune.
And you caught 2 beauties. Congratulations, again.
