Scotty Puller
It worked great...crabbing wasn't fantastic but I brought home about 8 crabs for three nets on a one hour soak. Then the damn wind came up as it has every day around 11. The Scotty puller helped with the pain of those 125' ropes and will really be nice this winter for those deep 150' Bugs. Jim / Saba Slayer Last edited by Saba Slayer; 08-10-2014 at 08:06 AM. |

Ace Line Hauler
[QUOTE=ful-rac;203007]Whaaaat? The ace lane hauler wouldnt fit?
The guys at Ace Line are making a mini hauler for the PA but I was waiting for the new Hobie models with the H-rail to come out in September before we finished the design and mount. It should be pretty nice...in the meanwhile the Scotty should work fine...it's only 4 1/4" bolts to remove it. Jim / Saba Slayer Last edited by Saba Slayer; 08-10-2014 at 08:07 AM. |

I could use something like this that works on fishing line for pulling snags loose without cutting my fingers

Without giving away family secrets and having to kill me, where can I launch to give crabbing a try?

If you know of structure that is a good place to start. Crabs are active all day and hang out in the same neighborhoods as lobster. Find crabs during the day and it's a good spot to come back to at night for bugs, in season |
