Keep me informed about the June trip. We usually
fish BoLA with Igor in June.

I really like the area around Erendira and Punta
China. Lot's of kelp and boiler rocks. If you can
make bait yellowtail are just outside kelp line.

Easy sand beaches to launch just North of Castros.

What are the road/resort conditions like down to Mag bay?...and is it worth fishing
I'm only familiar with Mag Bay from the POV of a 10/12-day long range trip!
Of course this would be a longer trip due to distance.

Roads are good paved all the way. San Diego to Mag Bay 18-20 hours driving time. So to do this trip is 2 days down and 2 days back 11 days would give 7 days to fish. If you had a full two week vacation you might get 11 fishing days. I have heard 10+ fish an hour is the norm, but remember this is bay bass country so expect lot's of spotties. Also grouper, halibut, croaker, snappers, corvina and maybe a snook, pompano, or jack. Worth fishing??? on the fly???
You tell me. It is on my bucket list.
