You should be looking at a larger kayak, 12foot would be the SMALLEST for a person your size, you will not enjoy a 10 footer. Ask some of the guys here or better yet go to see CJ at the Mission Bay store, he will let you try a few to see what works best for YOU. He hs been doing this for years and he will NOT stear you wrong.

You need a big kayak, 14 ft + would be right for ya!
Or buy the sierra 10 use it and find out that you should have bought a sit on top kayak and then buy something else bigger...you make the choice.
