I like two flush mounts behind me for trolling, located where they don't interfere with your paddle stroke. And a 1" RAM ball and articulating tube holder up front for rigging and sometimes trolling.

rod holders mounted on an extreme
Here's a pic of my extreme and how I have mounted the rod holders on all 3 of mine!
![]() ![]() as you can see I have 2 in back, 2 in front and one in the center console, the one in the center you do have to slightly cut down and modify to make work I find it rather useful especially when you are gaffing and game clipping!!!! hope this helps Matt |

For trolling macs & other large live baits, the flush mounts behind your seat will work fine as is.
