thanks for the info..my back is wacked. I had back surgery last year and im still in pain. So I can see using that method when I'm fishing near my home in Ventura/Malibu and using the racks when coming down your way to fish and on my trip to Baja Sur. So when you only had one yak on your roof, you would just strap it down on the rack?
