Seems pretty strategic to me! Dad might be able to use that reel as well. Sweet custom job on that rod, the combo looks really cool.

I read somewhere that Seeker rods and AVET reels must be taken out in the sun to ensure that the carbon/ aluminum/ silicon/ titanium components receive enough ultraviolet energy.


Make sure that you take your son's combo out for some light a few times a year.
