I am in San Diego as well and can show you what I do know, which isn't much. The bay should start heating up. Sounds like you have a good start. Pm me and we can exchange #'s

With that setup it would be good for the bay and lakes.
I fish chula vista often and mostly on sundays. PM me and if the conditions are good you can get on to a bonefish down there and be hooked forever. |

hey man, i'm pretty new to the craft myself but i would love to get together and slay some beasts. my knowledge is limited but growing fast through experience and research. im in the long beach area but perhaps we can meet in the middle somewhere. i would be happy to pass on some of the information i have acquired and gain a new fishing buddy. I fish a Lifetime Tamarack 120 (not of the highest quality but gets the job done) and working on outfitting it for beastmode. you may get some crap for not buying the Cadillac of kayaks (much as i have) but the way i see it, its a stepping stone to bigger and badder things without bankrupting you. my best advise, that has helped me substantially, is to watch as many videos on fishing methods as you can as well at the various rigs and baits available to you. oh and get out with some of these pros on here because they know their sh!t. feel free to PM me for my number and lets get this crackin!

I did a bit of research and with my budget of 700$ this was my best option. I Think since its canoe / yak hybrid .... 10 ft long and me being 5'8 this will be perfect size for me to turn and have speed. Also i think it will be perfect for bay fishing which was my goal from the start...... You u know untill is aw the yellowtail videos.. Ill probably drown trying that .. but one day i will try that in my little 10
SO who has an extra yak they want to take me out on. Last edited by Endlers; 03-25-2014 at 01:20 PM. |
