TRANX

yup it is a HG tranx, honestly its badass!! to the max. I have caught like 200 small and large yellows, BFT and YFT and DODO's on it, its powerful as hell but equally smooth, also makes casting iron all day a breeze, i figure more casts = more chances to hookup. and holds 300yrds of 65 spectra.......oh jeez i feel like a shimano rep now, haha

thats a sweet video but i agree with the boys on watching the launch and the camera was mounted so nicely that it was sweet when we saw the color then him pin wheeling up. The problem with having the camera on through the whole time is that you have to go through all the footage to find the hookup. That can be extremely rewarding at times tho. Nice video and congrats on the jellow. You have a nice setup there mean yak and gear.

Great first video. I was surprised when I saw the small compact reel, but I could tell it wasn't the average curado. It had great pulling power and you were just killing it the way you were reeling in line. Nice fish, so good to see your catch. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, and the tranx HG is great. Seems like it reel that yellow like nothing? Are you running full braid? If so what lbs? I wanna bring it out to LJ and pull up a yellow or White Sea bass, any pointers?

Nice job on the video and fish. Might want to think about mounting the camera (and fighting the fish) on the other side of your yak. It will allow you to more easily get the fish close holding the rod in your left hand. And make it less difficult to reach with the gaff in your right hand. That is how I was taught anyway.
