Yeah. I use to use them a lot. Now I break them out when the bite is slow. They definitely work well. With the small hooks on them I get a lot of smaller fish though. Not a problem anymore as I bought one of those Roklees rigs. Works perfectly.

I was out there too. Not as lucky/skillful as you but I picked up a nice red the headed back over to the kelp where I picked up a fat sculpin. One of my friends picked up a very respectable sand bass out at the rockpile.
It was a good day to be on the water. |

Nice meeting you at the launch RJ, with a toad Copper to get us pumped! We got out there, found he schools, but they didnt seem too hungry. Seems like they only bite for breakfast. Weather was beautiful though, and we got visited by the DFG & 2 huge Grey Whales, epic site!

When you guys get out there, do you drift, or drop an anchor down? My first time out there I found the canyon. Jumped from 200 to 280 ft fast, started messing with my rigs, next thing I know, I drifted back to 150 ft. Any tips?

If you have a FF and GPS, use it to stay over your rockpile. Can't really give any advice if you don't have those two.
