Swivel snaps or just retie. No reason to take multiple setups just so you don't have to retie knots. I can tie a palomar in less than 3 seconds on the water, no big deal.

When I use a spinning setup from a boat or from shore, I often carry multiple spools with different line weights, so I can switch between different techniques and presentations.
On a kayak, the "spinning" parts get in the way, so I switch to a conventional setup. I don't have any first-hand experience with this idea on a kayak. |

If I was going to fish bass with one setup with one setup I'd pack like this...
30lb braid with 12lb and/or 17lb leader. I'd probably stick to 12lb, but I like light line. A variety of Warbait Slayer heads in different weights and maybe colors too. 4" Edge Flurrys (Minnow Magic and Sea Food) and 5" or 5.5" Big Hammers (Christmas Tree and Clear Red Flake), 5" Kalin grubs (Smoke Sparkle and Clear black flake), and Zoom Super Flukes (Baby Bass, Bubble Gum and Smokin' Shad?). All these can be fished on the Slayer head and offer a variety of weedless presentation options. Hot Sauce for flavor. Edit: Totally agree with Alan. Palomar, no swivels.
