Yoyo rig, surface iron rig. One to change out for heavy bottom and fly lining macs, a bait stick (sabiki and saliki) and a bass stick.

5 I bring 5.

Number of rods would depend on season and location. When I fish south bay I usually have a rod for fishing bait and 3 or 4 for fishing plastics, spinnerbaits, or crankbaits. No reason tying knots all day. In LJ winter maybe a rod for making bait, a yoyo rod, and a heavy bait rod. In the summer it would be a surface iron stick, bait making rig, lighter bait rod, heavy bait rod, and maybe something to fish the plastics with. Even if I doubt I'll use it I always bring a long rod when I fish LJ. Other surface iron lovers may agree, I just feel incomplete with out the cannon on board. Mike
