I feel your pain. Posted twice. A lot of views...no comments. No Biggs. Fishing is an art...you learn stuff without distractions on your own. But this is a forum and you got some hints. Best luck for someone new.... Watch the birds.... If they are diving and going crazy... They are on bait fish and sometimes a bigger fella is hanging around. So drop a Sabiki rig and at least pull on some fish...even throw an iron on the bottom so it looks like it's chasing. Try fly lining. Or some dropper loops.... Make sure you have some deep and surface irons- scrambled eggs are nice. And maybe a few swims for some bass by the kelp.... Either way if all else fails... Hit up some bait fish... Still fun to catch especially if your new. But good luck..tight lines... And bent rods...
