Kayak kart starter

I stopped by harbor freight today in el Cajon to start my kayak "trolley" settup and they have pneumatic tires on sale for 4 bucks.... Grabbed 2 and will be working up the settup this weekend for the 15'er....any lessons learned would be appreciated as I start construction

Use stainless hardware. Have some provision to keep the kayak on the cart other than the weight like straps. If I had to do it all over again I'd paint it pink
