If you are camping, a tent is a must. Otherwise you will be sand blasted over night. Keep the flaps that close the screened areas closed cause the silt will penetrate the fine mesh. Under the Palapas, you can leave the rain-fly off for ventilation.

Doesn't seem cheap to me and Coleman has a good reputation for quality.

I like this in that you get a tent and also a cot attached to it.

Here is a heads up. After waiting for Amazon to get this tent cot back in stock I found it on Overstock and it has free shipping and no tax. This is the best price I have found on the internet for this.
