Nice Smörgåsbord. You could open up a restaurant with that catch.

Tuesday was awesome, One and half million people live in the San Diego area and we were the only Kayak Fisherman in all of La Jolla .... just awesome.
That Sculpin you caught was huge, very nice and tasty I bet. There was a very good variety of fish that day. Mikey is killing it hooping on the yak this year. He may be in first ![]() Last week when I hooped with Mikey, we dropped our nets went back to the launch and built a fire and had awesome carne asada tacos while we waited. Man this is the life ..... I am one of those people who push others into doing things, What's cool about Mikey is he pushes back and we plan and execute great adventures ..... Can't wait for the next one ...... |

You caught a sculpin, vermillion, honey comb, gopher and tree fish.
Olive rock fish are called johnny bass. Johhny bass look very similiar to yellowtail rockfish and are sometimes confused with eachother. Kelp Rockfish and brown rockfish also look very similiar and are called sugar bass |
