i was there last Friday...like you tried trolling didn't work at all so I anchored north side of Santiago flat about 10-20 ft used night crawler then coughs limit within 2 hours....

the good thing about irvine is they stock alot of quality fish but fri and sats get fish really hard! the last two sundays have been slow there for me but season just started so plenty of time to get out there and get em

Thank you for the detailed info. Greatly appreciated. Hope to get into a few next weekend. If the trout are not biting we will switch over to rum and cokes ....they always work for me.
