nope not quite magic...they're a few of us here that tried this stuff and it seems to work well...on surfaces that don't get touched. It seems as soon as you lay a finger on it it loses it's "never wet" properties...I tried it on a cooler and it worked right after the stuff was applied then stopped working after it was touched or cleaned. The bad thing is that it leaves a white really rough texture to whatever you spray it to.
