is there any reason why there was not a ton of fish eating all that squid down on the bottom?

Or maybe they died from over eating? On siesta? IDK some beds are covered with Sand Dabs, some with Bat Rays and others are like this one. This is the first time I have filmed that large a number of dead and/or dying Squid though.
