Holy schnikies look at the size of these old Sea Bass pics!

Saw this on the wall at Bass Pro in Ontario. Look at the size if these monsters!!

Oh Yea, I remember as a kid some guy hauling out a BSB he shot in LJ Cove. Loaded into the back of a full size pickup truck, it was hanging out onto the tailgate.

Showing my age - Those were the good ol' days when I used to pull green and black abalone any time I wanted to out of the cove...

Those fish are still around. I saw one that big at SBI a while back. Couldn't imagine killing one now though. I's funny how things change.

Sure they are still around, but figure 4 fish that size on the same day from the same area. I've seen it like that on some reefs in Baja within the last 4 years, but with the roads now those days will soon be gone.
