I plan on fishing LJ tomorrow, rockfishing as well. It should be a nice day on the water.

I've never fished for rock fish at LJ but would love to. When are you launching? What radio channel will you be on?

I'll be launching around the same time. Blue Ford Ranger, yellow PA-14. My VHF crapped out on me, maybe I'll spot you at the launch.

I'll be there at 5:30. I've never been able to find the rock fishing spot that people go to in La Jolla so I'd love to have someone to follow. I'm thinking about fishing La Jolla during the day and then heading to Dana Point on my way home and hooping for bugs after dark. Anybody else want to go with me?

The pickins are scarce in nwp right now. I spent the entire morning chasing down the pile fighting wind and slop for just 2 rockies. LJ you have a better shot fishing next to any of the commercial buoys in like 150'
