That's a nice sized guitar fish, I wouldn't have expected one in the kelp either.

Sound like a great day of fishing and good weather. Regardless of the

type of shark I won't put that thing between leg with the mouth by my you know what. Thanks for the report.

this is the only pic i could find of mine that shows the mouth. its just like a small ray. nothing to worry about. they make great tacos though! and the mackerel is a pacific green back.
