Because I had a few first timers with me we didn't get on the water until around 9am. I was sitting in front of my house waiting for them at 6am! The marine layer was thick and the fog didn't clear until around 11:30. Trolled a frozen dine and landed a 17" hali on the way out. Hit the first kelp bed and the fog was so thick I couldn't see the beach or the harbor entrance. It was flat no current no swells and......... No bass! Headed back in at 11 and fished the harbor until noon near the mouth. I found some green backs, a few short sandies, and plenty of lizards. Off the water just after noon and grabbed myself a big bow of Pho and called it a day.
