I have used bungee cords to tie off to kelp, they work great,
I have also used kelp to tie off to the kelp, just wrap it (3 or 4 strands of kelp) around your leg or a pole holder. |

home depot has something similar if not the same . these were suggested in a recent post , so i grabbed a couple . if nothing else wrap some strands of kelp around the mirrage drive peddles .

Until you have used a kelp clip you have no idea how much better they are than all the other options. Way quicker and easier especially if its really windy. Work great in freshwater on tulies too.
