Confessions of a Kokatat gear nerd...

I did it again.

Kokatat Goretex Tactical Military Navy Seal Drysuit.

I've wanted one of these a long time but heard they were sized differently then the Kokatat Meridians. Finally took the plunge and a medium fits me perfectly. You can swim in these and stay dry but they are breathable and lighter then most waders or drytops. I'm so excited can't wait to use it.

Supposedly they are something like a grand new but they are not for sale new to the pubic and you have to be a Navy Seal to get one. Used they are sometimes on ebay, and usually sell for around $300 $400.

Recently some military surplus guy has been selling a bunch of them on ebay and I got this one cheaper at $138. It appears unused. No wear anywhere and it still smells new.

He's already put up another one:

One thing to note is part of Kokatats contract with the Navy states that the suits have no warranty and they will not repair them. I've read good things about them for years. What I like about them is they are very well made and a little lighter and cooler then the standard kokatat goretex drysuits.
