Check this GWS story

Hook1 told be about this and the link is below. I shouldn't have posted, a little debating started over it (the flippers/yum yum yellow rumor)...should have just observed.

I think just reading would be the ideal thing to do....they have their own "known" posters to have to deal with lol.

I would have shi-ot myself. Yikes.
Glad the guy is OK...but still, better him then us.
Are there any photos?

Interesting -I wonder if the flipper / peddle kayaks look more like food to the GWS?

Note to self: when fishing sharky waters like NOR CAL- bring tourniquet!

We all know the risks involved. I just remind myself of all the "I'm more likely to get killed [insert activity here]" and go about my way. I bet he feels pretty greatful to be intact though. Looks like it just wanted a taste out of curiosity. Usually that end's up in a missing limb though.

yup, Especially with those propulion fins. This is the second time that a red Hobie has been attacked by a Great White.

So thats why

So thats why I catch so many sharks.
As I was making bait today my sabiki
gets hit big time and I lose 3 hooks.
A little while later my bottom line goes
off. Good fight, nice head shakes had
me thinking right kind. Then it comes up
thrashing, but I'm still gaining line. Then
the stoopid mako comes right at me.
He charged my yakak and hit it so hard,
the yak shook. Then went through the
30 lb line and took my hooks.

I will not be showing this post to the wife! I have here damn close to finally paddling out! She's nervous about going out on the ocean.

I can't even imagine what this guy was thinking when he realized it was a white.

Suddenly old knothead doesn't seem so bad
