Take the seat to a car interior place and see if they can put some padding/boat grade upholstery

Yes, we are!
Just remove the original seat from the aluminum frame. Many or most boat seats will bolt to the frame just fine, and it's the frame that attaches to the boat. I kept the original seat (for now) but added a pair of 2x4" risers to mine to make for more comfortable pedaling. Here's the frame with risers added: And here's the seat reattached: |
