Super Moon L.A.B Bassin'

Hit up the LAB (Los Alamitos Bay) a day after the Super Moon. Got to the area around 6am with a -4.5 low tide and prepped our yaks to head out.

We all started off by spreading out in the bay, fishing different spots. Threw a couple swimbaits into a few pilings with no biters. Paddled to one of the walls that protects some private docks, and almost every 5-8 casts gets a hook up.

Little brother with a Spottie on the 4in Big Hammer.

I get on a decent slay fest for a good hour on the 3in Big Hammer.

My cousin with the biggest Spottie of the day at 17inches!

While my brother was drifting for Halibut, he goes BENDO!

And lands someones lost sail or boat cover? Gaffed, decked, and trashed.

Bass Thumbs Up!

Nice. Waiting for the new production of shark vids off Belmont Pier. Saw you guys out at 7-eleven, was thinking about taking my yak out the outer wall.

I'm not into bassin but it looks like fun.

Did you get measurements and a weight on that sail?
