LOL, actually there was a guy that Videoed it. I met him out in the water and said great job, but was his best entertainment that he had for a while. I am hoping to get it, or if your reading this and you have it go ahead and post. I was a Deep Hole - Across from Neptunes Net of PCH about 5:45am launch lol. |

Cobra Fish 'n' Dives are also very stable, and carry a big load, I think rated at 560 pounds. Of course our models are 9 years old, so they may be somewhat different now.

rule number #1
always set a a comfortable limit . i think jorge brought this up recently. with all the recent postings it can be tempting to try something not wise . 2 -3 ' is a hand full , let alone 4 -5 ' especially for the inexperienced . a couple other things mentioned from the pro's . wear a belt with you'r waders , and the golden rule is where you'r head goes your body will follow . congratulations on you'r first on the water recovery . now you can check that one off and you know you can perform one as needed .

Great tries and recovery. The part I liked most is you didn't give up and kept going. Great thing you didn't lose any of your gears too.
Thanks for posting your experience ![]() |

Ok Tony - I deleted my posts,,, no more jokes - about it from me I have flipped just no film and I am sure it was just as funny when we got back to the launch - it was 5-6 feet.... it was a sideways rollover - nothing lost as reels were in drybag and everything was secured you are a cool guy, great sport and a great fisherman,,,

Across from NEPTUNES?!?!?!?! Dude, you should launch at LEO south of the rock a little ways, there is far less surf there! Deer Creek also has some nice kelp extremely close to the beach. Surf is hit or miss and breaks on the beach so you can time it nicely and the structure there drops fast. You should try out some of your buddies kayaks to see what better suits you. But if your not old, retired, or have shoulders like a woman I'd steering away from a Hobie and stick with something that you
