Seadek is just closed cell EVA foam just like the EVA tile you can get from Home depot.  I used EVA foam in the footwells and the rear well of my x-13 glued down with automotive trim (contact) adhesive. It raised the deck a half inch up front and I doubled it in the back for a full inch.. It adds virtually no weight, makes the yak quieter, raised the water line in back and acts like floatation. Five years later still no issues. I don't know what Seadek charges but Home depot EVA is dirt cheap and 3M spray trim adhesive is pretty inexpensive.
