I saw that but it's a new seller with zero feedback, I usually steer away from those.

yes that rod is a great fit for 300ej and it is the match for the "Shimano waxwing lure" for casting

So a buddy of mine told me this happened before to a Penn reel and it came within 2 weeks. Huh. Anyway the Okumas AF90 went up a bit but the rest of the prices went down.

Ordered one too but had problems with it and Amazon cancelled the order. No harm, no foul. I still ordered one from Amazon.
