The one lizard I caught actually hooked himself trying to eat the sand dab I was catching lol Those sand dabs are so tasty!

i dunno, i never had much luck sending lizardfish back down to the bottom. i don't think other fish find them as appealing as other baits

My first trip to SD bay I caught one and after reading somewhere they were good for halibut bait, I hooked it up and sent it down. after a short time the rod slowly bends over, thinking I'm hooked on the bottom I give it a yank, it yanked back. Towed me for a little bit then busted the line (this was before I migrated to braid).
