I might be going out to the jetty area later this week. I launch out of ventura cove park and paddle out along the jetty. I have been wanting to leave the channel and fish towards the kelp. Normally, I target halibut but I want to go after some of calicos.

I may be headed out that way Friday with a couple of friends,you can tag along if you wish.If they don't show I still want to go.
