Great Story and nice vengeance! We all could use some of that lately!

more pix

It was a really awesome trip. I'd highly recommend the captain we fished with for expert and novice kayak-fishermen alike who are interested in San Quintin. There's even rumors he may offer packages with fish and/or surfing with flights directly in from Palomar in the near future.

Not even close...Either I got lucky or fishing Mexico is easy...or at least easier
than La Jolla.

While it may seem that LJ is easy and fish gravitate towards it, there are lots of things
about it that really make it difficult sometimes.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but 1 Mex trip doesn't change things...

...I've got a long way to go.

All I ever wanted to be was the new katchfish, but I just can't handle that much time on my knees.

Hard core

Nice to see the skunk go away. Great YT
After a trip like that I might have taken some
off fishing. Not Dave, after me not fishing most
of the month, I see you out there morning and night.
Hard core

Right before we came in I get hit by something
large. Got it close to the yak then it pulls the
hook. Strange thing was when I reeled in, the tail
of the mack was still on my trap hook. Never seen
that before, its always the head that comes back.
Big squid I think.
