Another slow day in LJ...

Had a nice day on the water with my brother Rich. Launched at 645-7 to mild wind and pretty mellow surf. Made no squid, but had some frozen.
Fin bait was plentiful but we left them alone. Sea life was light, no whales, only a few dolphins and average amount of sea lions.
Went to chase some rockfish. He got a nice sculpin to take home.
Other than that, nada.
Got back to the launch, and there was a spear guy with a maybe 25-30# WSB.
Heard of a sandbass caught too.
Swell is supposed to be really mellow through the weekend.
See y'all on the water.

My pleasure Jarrod.
I wish there was more to my reports but the weather/wind/swell, but it's been really slow in LJ lately.

Thanks for the report.... good fishing or slow, it is nice to know.

I plan to take out a PB tomorrow with three kids. Hopefully we get some rockfish or wind up in the middle of a boil of hungry YT! Half-day boat from Seaforth got a few YT today.

thanks for the report. my main concern was the amount of fin bait and squid around, and your report answered that question without difficulty. i hope the big fish come in and play with the yakkers soon
