WTG Trout fishing

Where can I take my wife and boys to hook up on some trout while I can still hunt for bass. Easy beach access, no fee (preffered), want to keep the fish. She misses fishing Mammoth, but Im not making that trek for trout thats 90% small bones anyways. Im in the 91913

Can you tell I don't want to go

Thanks

Jay

How about Silverwood? Let them trout fish, while you chase lmb and striped bass. They charge you per vehicle to get in and a couple of bucks to fish off their dock. Trout can be fun too, give them a chance on ultralight tackle.

I also think silver wood would work. When I go there I normally catch a mix of bass and trout even when targeting just bass. There striped bass everywhere in there all though I still have yet to catch one, the only time I have hooked a striped is on my ultralight and it spooled me.
