Typical trip to the sewer....Lets see...20-25 bucks for gas, 10 for parking, 5 for coffee and soda/monsters, 15 for bait, 20 for busybee sandwiches....70-75 bucks give or take...wow
 Thats not including tackle...its definitely not cheap... But 100% worth it!....sometimes...

Oh - and a steak & egg burrito - $5 So $9 But my trip to LJ on Sunday was $125... Thats what it cost to fix the broken turbo fin and drive piece. |

Travel 5.8 mi to LJ launch in 30 mpg matrix\ w trailer @3.87/costco = $.77
  Make my own lunch = $ no additional cost.  parking free = $0 Ranch 99 frozen squid = $4 Filet bill = $0 do it myself  kayak and rod and reel rental = $0   Florocarbon/hooks/jigs trip = $10  Total Cost = $14.77  Getting lucky after fishing = priceless

Fishing Dana Pt (I live in Lake Forest)... $12 gas, $10 launch ramp fee, $3.58 for coffee and a danish, and $5-7 for lunch if I eat on the way home. Plus, lots of lead donated to the pipe.

$1.69 - Half coffee half hot chocolate $9.98 - Frozen squid in case I cant snag any $0.87 - Dramamine $0.99 - Iced tea $1.89 - Donuts $5.45 - Cigarettes $1.38 - Cheese crackers $1.09 - Bottle of water $43.34....... Holy sh*t, I gotta get a job!

going to have to figure this out on Friday. I know it will be much less than my last time out.....moved to Vista last month and so my commute is much shorter than from Irvine
