Thanks for sharing your "learning oportunity". There is always a bit, or more than a bit, of anxiety when it comes time to gaff a big halibut, cause you never know if they are going to freak. Your's

It was a good gaff, and the fish just laid there. Game clip went on with the fish still calm as can be. He even held the fish by the gaff for at least another minute without a pee. But soon as he pulled the gaff it went psycho.
