All kayaks have a VIN# engraved somewhere around the stern. It's always a good idea to write this number somewhere in your personal paperwork - it could come in handy if the cops recovery your boat, or for identification purposes.
I see a lot of kayaks along the docks at marina village, boat owners are always eager to buy them to paddle around the marina area. -They are also oblivious as to where they may have come from.
