sealant?
Do you guys know if 3m 4200 bonds to the plastic kayaks are made of... if not what sealant are you guys using for installing flush mt rod holders, and etc...

Marine goop... Don't think home depot carries it, But I know West Marine does. San Diego is in need of a few more kayakfishing oriented tackle stores.

Use zip ties to secure the coil of extra wire to one of the scupper posts. Then use these adhesive zip tie anchors to guide the wire from the transducer to the coil.
![]() I use these anchors and they stick great, never had one fall off. Really cleans up the inside of the yak. |
