Mammals Invade La Jolla

Lots of hungry mouths out there this morning, but other than a few Macks and 1 Squid, all I dealt with were of the mammal persuasion. Shot 5 1/2 minutes of video that made my day entertaining.

When the purpose are near, I start hauling ass and if I go fast enough and they're interested, I can get them to swim in my bow wake. I'll post a video of it shortly.

You can see it a dozen times and still be amazed by mother nature putting on a show.

People that don't spend time outdoors could never understand the feeling.

Thanks for posting it Greg.

Way cool video. I've been trying to get a good dolphin clip when I go out, but can't seem to get a good shot of them.

what a great example of what it is like to be out on the water, sometimes we get lucky enough to witness cool stuff like this, sometimes we are even luckier to have footage to share...nice job Greg, thanks for sharing

Anyone out there enough will have similar experiences. This was just the first time that the subjects cooperated and I remembered to turn on the camera. Now if I can just remember to clean the lens first and dip the camera in the water next time it will be pretty kewl.

Many times being on the bow of my boat with dolphin "riding the wake" I can literally reach down (after coming off downside of swell) and touch them....now thats a feeling
