Buggin in the rain
My normal honey hole is quite a hike but there's never any boat traffic. With the rain pouring all evening, I figured there wouldn't be as many boaters and I could hit a much closer spot I have and catch bugs in 1/2 the time. Well, I wasn't wrong This is my 9th trip, and 9th time hitting limits. These weren't as big as my others but legal limits none the less. Sent 31 shorts back. 5 hoops pulled 3 times each to hit limts. It was cold and wet but worth it. Good thing I got my flu shot earlier in the day For those haters who have been lingering lately. Go ahead and EXIF data, check it out http://regex.info/exif.cgi I'm going to try to make some lobster burgers as my next recipe. Stay tuned... For the sake of being a contributing member without blowing up my spot all over the internet, I'll let it be known this spot is easily accessible from Dana Landing. I worked some structure that can be found in around 22 foot of water not too far from one of the 3 bridges. I timed the crawl with the tides. Moving water is a hoopers best friend. If you see me on the water I'll be more than happy to take you there, but I won't post it for all the leachers to see. Last edited by Drake; 10-21-2012 at 03:11 AM. |

Nice roach update. Nine Sevens!!! That is freaking awesome. So, I know what you look like...Mission Bay near the bridges...and you're willing to allow me in if I "run into you"...you're just making this too easy. See you soon my new friend...

Awesome job once again.
I had the same plan for last night, hooping in the rain. I only got 4 legals, my area seems to be slowing down. Drake Pucks™ work once again. My total for the season is 25 legals which is way better than I expected. |

Thanks guys, it's been a great season for me so far, much better than last.
Took the bugs on base today and fed some of the guys stuck on duty. The guy in the middle dove for his 1 bug, that's why you see 8 Last edited by Drake; 10-21-2012 at 01:19 PM. |

I went out the day after you broke your streak and I only had 6. I was bored and tired but refused to leave, stuck it out for a swing tide and got my 7th at 3am. I hope that doesn't happen again. |

I just shows when the photo was taken and lots of other information. Its purpose proves that the photo wasn't taken two weeks ago last time I got limits and I'm just recycling the photos. It's the same concept as putting a current news paper in the photo.

Rob wasn't kidding. You're killing it. Let's hang soon. Just got hitched so have been MIA for a while. A couple of guys are taking me out Thursday to try my hand at catching some of those.
