gosh I think the only way to do this is try as many as you can, I have both siadica, if that's how you spell it, too lazy to look it up, anyhow, bad back herre too, but I can still pedal, I myself would suck it up and go down to OEX and demo everything they have until you felt comfy, and I would bring my yak, and try them in the bay...make a day of it, bring a rod and some plastic...IMO

I haven't asked OEX about trying seats, kayaks yes but seats on my kayak. That would be great. I tried peddling several times but unfortunately it just beats the tar out of me. My upper body even though it's been rebuilt a couple times it's doing very well vs. my legs the most. Would like to be able to get stronger and have a low enough pain level to at least enjoy some fishing for a half a day when things are nice out.

Most comfortable seat I've ever used was a Feel Free seat. Andy has them at OEX Sunset Beach. Perhaps the OEX down your way carries them?
