I've heard they are in the area. I've C&R'd some babies to juvies. I recently saw a bigger model cruise through the kelp at the headlands (it was no monster). BUT i'm sure/certain they are out there.
since I've not caught a WSB worth killing, I may not be the best person to tell you how to attract them and what set-up to use BUT I like the live bait and have had luck w/ bouncing the bottom using a 3-way swivel. |

I have yet to get a DP WSB but I'd Carolina rig a little greenback and work your way from the red buoy to Monarch point in 60ish feet
