i was out at the hidden bank on wednesday. trolled 5 hours for 3 tuna. on the way back, the upper hidden bank held 3 good sized paddies the size of a truck, and all 3 formed a triangle. drifted the middle for unlimited rat yellows on cut bait. radio'd people the coordinates but nobody responded.

hopefully all those "rats" grow up big and strong, realize they have no mortgage to pay, and move to La Jolla!
How nice to have an ocean full of little ones growing up! Actually, a couple weeks ago, in my power boat's bait tank, we found a 6-inch White Seabass juvenile! How cool! A WSB in our bait scoop! Of course we released it to grow big, have thousands of babies, and feed all of us in the long run. (Or get eaten by a pelican.) |

Those little yt are pretty. Did your's have sorta orange-ish bars on the sides? I've seen a few paddies over the years just loaded with them. Mike

Ya it had the bars depending on the reflection from the light. It was pretty cool to see them so close to home
