Dana point. . .
Weds, out for the early am. Very wet. Only two calico. Water was warm 71. I spied a nice halibut and ear to ear grin. today, very warm and dry BUT the water was cooler 67. Wind picked up around 1 pm. Actually had a goose bump or two, it was kind of cool. Then I made it home. HOT HOT HOT. where'd the warm water go? |

I was out at DP on Tues. with 3 others and the water temp was 72*F, air temp 74, and a drizzling rain began at 1030. Shows how quick the conditions will change! Bite was slow (non-existant?) but I was the lucky one that day and was able to wipe off a 2 week skunk with a 36 1/2" , 17lb 10oz hali. Going to give it another try tomorrow.
