Yeah, I got fooled at first, too.
For you Newbies that were thinking about the trip to LJ based on this post, realize it was somebody's joke, and be aware that a 5 foot South swell is predicted on Sat/Sun, along with a 3 foot West swell. That's a heck of a lot of cross chop. The South facing beaches (LJ launch is West facing one) are expected to have 6-9 foot waves, some possibly higher. I've seen the launch have some knarly waves too, with a 3 foot predicted swell. Julie and I are considering Sunday, but we'll wait and see what the webcam shows on Saturday. Our going is also based on facing good sized waves with a few dozen launches/landings there. I'd hate to see new guys lose their gear because they were unaware. Aaron
