metal detecting LJ

Instead of taking the yak out tomorrow I will be hitting the break line in LJ with my metal detector. If I find any equipment, I will post vague descriptions and if you can finish it off it's yours. If it's like my last outing, I'll be coming home with a pocket full of bobby pins and bottle caps, but again you would be surprised what I find in HB.

My finds included: 2 pliers; a gold wedding band; loads of hooks and about 16 cents. Man did I have targets all over the place about waist deep, just had the wrong digger to get to everything. I can tell by the pings that there may be some rods down there by the length of my signals. Might take the yak out next week and try again with the detector.

Another Metal Detectorist?

I metal detect also mostly the city parks but have been out to Oceanside and Carlsbad beaches not found much but still fun. I just need a sand scoop since kneeling into the sand to get you find gets old. I also kayak fish, but finding someone who metal detects is kinda more rare around here in my opinion, so good luck and maybe ill see you out there.
