Looks like a good day Steve.
I was open for a call. Hint - Hint. Would have loved to see you guys. Looks like a few wanted to play, and the spinners have been on fire lately. |

Why that seems like 55 seconds too long.
And I like the roast beef on a onion roll. |

Now's the time. They are biting really good right now. Eating the blade exceptionally well. Better quality fish too. Just sayin. Let me know if you want a guide. Glad to see you back down here tearin up the spotties Steve. Glad to see you both get in on the action. |

Nice going Ed. Spotties are in there prime time right now. With the warmer water and grass really abundant, if you have confidence, you can catch many now. Nice pics too.

It was definitely a great time Steve. We need to do it again really soon. So much better than Newport is right now. I caught my 12 fish (2 shorts) on a few different baits. Caught a few on the straight Flurry, 4 on the Hyspin w/a Flurry, and the rest on the slip jig (chart/white skirt) w/ a Swimmin' Senko in pearl for the bait. Hot sauce for flavor of course.
Interesting note on the Hyspin, they were slamming it, but I had to wait a second to set the hook. Once I figured that out, my hookup ratio went way up. Color didn't matter. The slip jig they were double tapping, set on the second tap and it was fish on. Set on the first and it was a miss. Color did matter. I tried a couple different baits, but pearl was it. Considering there was no current after 8am and barely any before that, I think we did pretty well. Mike, we'll definitely give you a heads up next time. Steve, I'll call you soon.
